Full Cold Moon December 3, 2017

The last full moon of the year occurs on December 03, 2017 and is in the sign of Gemini. In Native American cultures which tracked the calendar by the Moons, December’s Full Moon was known as the Full Cold Moon. It is fittingly associated with the month when winter cold fastens its grip and the nights become long and dark.  Another name for this full Moon is Long Night Moon which is a doubly appropriate name because the midwinter night is indeed long, and because the Moon is above the horizon for a long time. Other names for The December Full Moon are Oak Moon, Winter Moon, and Wolf Moon. This is the time of the Dark Lord, with the Oak being his symbol. It is the time of rebirth.

Can you feel the tension, truth and emotions rise? This is the last full moon of the year and often gives way to a lot of emotions we have hidden! Not to worry!  Let the light into your heart and you will find your own truth. Find the spark of joy that is within you.

The Moon is at her fullest in Gemini and this one is a biggy! Very feminine, it’s all about our feelings being expressed and verbalized. Your head may feel a little busy and our sub-conscious is out on full show. What was hidden is now revealed and you will need to deal with it! We will all react differently to this. Some may feel exuberant and free, others tired and teary, some are hiding under the sheets, others shouting to the rooftops. So embrace whatever comes your way on this full Moon!

The week of the Full Moon is filled with blessings from The Divine. So take some time to stop in the midst of the chaos of the holidays and appreciate all of the spiritual blessings that are coming to us at this time.

The Full Moon Is A Good Time To Set Your Intentions For The Next Year.

• Think about what it is you really would like to accomplish in the next twelve months.
• Write it out in a journal and update it throughout the year.
• Make a vision board so you have a visual of what it is you want to achieve.
• Take time to thank The Creator, all that is Divine and your Ancestors for another year.

Clean and shine the diamond of your soul and let that light shine before everyone, so that people wonder as you pass by-what it was that just touched their soul.

This is a wonderful time of year and definitely the time to send out your dreams to the universe.  By doing this you will see the growth of what you have put out come springtime.
