How appropriate that the Sturgeon Full Moon August 03 is in the sign Aquarius. The symbol for Aquarius is the Water Bearer, symbolically and eternally giving life and spiritual food to the world. The water from the vessel washes away the past, leaving room for a fresh, new start. The sign of Aquarius is forward-looking and growth-oriented

 After the rough month of July the sturgeon is swimming into our lives to show us that we are stronger than we think.  The sturgeon is a tough fish that can live up to 140 years.  You survived last month and you will make it through the coming months this year.

This should be of great encouragement as so many people are going through difficult times in their lives and this Full Moon is all about survival.  If you are feeling despondent take time and do some prayers on this Full Moon and ask for the strength of the sturgeon to pull you through any remaining obstacles in your life.  Do this for the good of all living beings.

Archangel for This Full Moon

It is time to turn to Archangel Asariel who has dominion over the waters of the world and the abundance of life within and so guides the deep ocean of your spirits. Asariel watches over your emotions and the ebb and flow of life, just like the Moon, encouraging creativity and teaching through dreams and inner wisdom.

Asariel is a great ally in the discovery of truth. He shows you what is true and what is just a rumor. He guides and protects you.  Asariel helps you to deal with bewitchment and evil illusions.  So if you feel that you have negative energies or forces coming against you, rely upon this Archangel to help you.

The August Full Sturgeon Moon is named after the Native Americans. The Great blue Lakes are filled with life. The Sturgeon is a large fish often spotted in these lakes. The message is clear. The Waters are calm and seem to connect all nature. The Lakes seem to "communicate" will all waters, the seas, the rainfalls, the rivers and the oceans. Everything is connected. We are the Sturgeons who swim in these Lakes.

We are full of energy and know we are ready to make a step further. Using the energy of the Sturgeon Moon we can connect better with each other and look for people who share the same interests as us!

I feel that the main purpose of acknowledging the Full Moon, by prayer or ceremony, is to give you that lunar dose of spiritual energy to get you through to the next full Moon.

Lions Gateway August 8

Every year on and around the 8th day of the 8th month of the year (August 8th), there is a massive cosmic alignment called “the Lions Gateway”. The Lions Gate is a time of increased cosmic energy flowing between the physical and spiritual realms. This is an opportunity for a powerful leap in tuning into the new energies of upgrade, realignment and the codes of activation.

The Lions Gate has ties to ancient Egypt and for Thousands of years has been observed and honored as a time of a great energetic influx and activation!

Take time on August 03 and August 8 to go to a quiet place to pray, meditate or anything else that feels right to you and trust that all that is Divine will be there for you.  The Divine Loving Spirits do want to help and they just wait for you to ask and show a bit of reverence for what they do for you.

Great waves of life are flowing all around us at this time.  August is a powerful month of releasing and reevaluating your life.  It’s time to let go of anything that is holding you back because you want to be open and ready for the new energies that are coming in at this point in the year.

This moon is also known as the Full Red moon because of the heat that makes the moon appear red and hazy. In European nations, it was named Green Corn Moon after the corns that have green leaves and grains at its highest peaks.

This Moon is associated with the element of Fire and Intense New Energy.

• Iron and garnet are the mineral totems for this moon.
• Raspberry is the plant totem.
• The sturgeon is the animal totem.
• The color is red.
