A friend of mine wrote me and asked why she always feels drained around the Full Moon. She reads posts about the magical energy of the full Moon yet she is exhausted and always has a terrible migraine around the full Moon. She wanted to know if I knew what this was about. Also she wondered if anybody else ever experienced this.
This may surprise you but many people feel this way and the reason is because they are empathic. When you are empathic, in other words a person sensitive to the feelings and emotions of others, you may be picking up the energy of others who are tuning in to the full Moon and you are getting the rebound effect because of your sensitive nature.
The Full Moon affects are so powerful that many police stations and hospitals post a notice of the upcoming Full Moon because they know that they are going to be busier and that some people will not be acting as rational as normal.
The Full Moon is a wonderfully magical energy charged night and is absolutely amazing to work with. However because it is an energetically charged night, you, as a sensitive need to be aware of how you personally respond to that energy and make sure you take care of yourself during that time.
I always recommend protecting yourself in the White Light of God. This is for your spiritual protection and to keep you from picking up others emotions. If you are sensitive/empathic take a few extra minutes and make sure you are doing your spiritual protection and you will find yourself not drained.
Three days before The Full Moon and Three Days Afterwards practice Deep Breathing. This will energize your brain and body with oxygen. A day before the full Moon make sure you drink lots of extra water as it’s naturally Grounding and get outside for a walk in nature if you can. Go barefoot; it will help to keep you grounded. You want to ground and center yourself before and after the Full Moon.
